Tentative Agreement

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It is with great pleasure that we inform the membership that we have reached a tentative agreement between Frontier and IBEW Local Union 503.

This negotiation was extremely difficult and the dedication shown by the membership was much needed and greatly appreciated.

Many days of bargaining has resulted in a Contract that your negotiation team unanimously recommends.

The Contract consists of a term of four years, with fair wages and benefits.

The details of the Contract will be relayed to the membership so all may review and process before the ratification meeting that has yet to be scheduled.

Update 2/7/17

Today was slow moving on the proposals.  We exchanged a few proposals across the table concerning the medical plan.  We also had exchanges regarding the retirement plan (401k).  We know how important these two issues are to you are your families.   We will contiune to discuss these until we receive what we believe is a fair package to bring back to the membership.

Update for 2/6/2017

Update for 2/6/2017 (Not posted due to technical error).

At this time contract is still set to expire Midnight, Wednesday Feb 8th. We have been focusing mostly on the medical plan at this time.  The company held a call with the benefits department to clarify some issue with the plan.  We will meet tomorrow for further discussions.

 

 

Update 1/12/17

Today was slow moving and we mainly focused on medical.  We have agreed to extend til Feb 9th and will be meeting with the company before then.

Update 1/10/2017

Today we met with the company and had a long discussion about medical and a few other proposals. We are meeting tomorrow to continue the review stage of these.

2017 Negoations have begun

Thank you to all the members who have submitted their surveys.  ALL of our proposals came from these.

 We have offically met with the company for the first time today.  We exchanged a brief outline of our proposals and they gave a medical presentation.   We meet tomorrow at 9am to discuss these futher.

Just an update for 1st Qtr 2015….

All members should have received their bonus payment in their March 6th paycheck.  If you have NOT received this, please contact us ASAP.
